SDCH first institutes its pediatric care program in 1981 in collaboration with Primary Children’s Medical Center (now known as Primary Children’s Hospital). SDCH evolves over time to become the ONLY facility equipped for pediatric patients, not just in Utah, but in the region, with the expertise for long-term and short-term stay for LTAC and skilled nursing care.
