The South Davis Community Hospital Campus features Western Peaks Specialty Hospital, a long-term acute care (LTAC) facility with 33 adult and 10 pediatric beds; South Davis Specialty Care, a 90-bed high-acuity nursing facility serving patients of all ages with complex respiratory and medical needs; and South Davis Community Care Center, a 44-bed skilled nursing facility currently under construction.
We also offer on-site dialysis, in-patient physical therapy, a licensed child care center for up to 60 children, and a small RV park to support families during their loved one’s stay.

Caring for the Community Since 1960
The origins of South Davis Community Hospital (SDCH) extend back to the 1950s when local physicians saw the need to develop a hospital to serve the citizens of fast-growing south Davis County. Together, a group of local business leaders, community physicians and county citizens combined efforts which resulted in creating SDCH as an acute care hospital, officially incorporating in December of 1960 and opening its doors to patients in the summer of 1961.
